Cucumber Suicide Attempt

Cucumber in rear was ‘failed suicide bid’: A HONG Kong man, taken to the hospital to have a cucumber removed from his bottom, told doctors he inserted it in a suicide attempt.

The Sun reported Chin Wei, 62, said the method was a variation of the Japanese ritual suicide hara-kiri – usually carried out with a sword plunged into one’s own stomach.

He was found in a pool of blood by his daughter before being rushed to receive medical health. Medics said a severe tear to the man’s anus was not life-threatening.

3D Games Can Ruin Children’s Eyes

Nintendo says that 3D video games can damage the eyesight of children under six. If this is true, there is no telling what damage is being caused by the persistent 3D environment we call “reality.”

“Vision of children under the age of six has been said [to be in the] developmental stage,” Nintendo warned. The company fears that 3D content “delivers 3D images with different left and right images, [which] has a potential impact on the growth of children’s eyes.”
