A pricing error like this is bad enough without following it up with a massive reply-all e-mail error. On a related note, I think there might be an opening in this guy’s department tomorrow.
Last night, Cabela’s sent out an e-mail to the hundreds of customers who had tried to buy a the G-Floor Floor Protector in green (normally $209.99) for the ridiculously low price of $4.88, letting them know this was a mistake and their accounts would not be charged. The bigger problem is that the person at Cabela’s who sent out the e-mail forgot to Bcc the customers, thus giving out every other customer’s address.

What is thirty five feet long, weighs 12,500 pounds and is hurtling towards earth as we speak? Who cares? Scientists say the odds of it hitting you are slim…even though they don’t know where or when it is going to hit.
NASA personnel are keeping a very close eye on some six tons of space junk hurtling toward Earth. The Upper Atmosphere Research Satellite, also known as UARS, is expected to fall out of the sky by the end of this week, and scientists say it will break into pieces as it gets closer to Earth. But where will they land — and should we be worried?

The Donald has just accepted gold bullion instead of cash. According to my colleague at the Wall Street Journal, Trump accepted $176,000 in bullion as a security deposit on space at 40 Wall Street from Apmex, a precious metals dealer.
Trump used the occasion for some publicity, and a dig at the Obama administration. “It’s a sad day when a large property owner starts accepting gold instead of the dollar,” Trump said in an interview. “The economy is bad, and Obama’s not protecting the dollar at all….If I do this, other people are going to start doing it, and maybe we’ll see some changes.”

Former National Aeronautics and Space Administration Data and Photo Control Department manager, Ken Johnston, who worked for the space agency’s Lunar Receiving Laboratory during the Apollo missions has been fired for telling the truth.
Johnston asserts NASA knows astronauts discovered ancient alien cities and the remains of amazingly advanced machinery on the Moon. Some of the technology can manipulate gravity. He says the agency ordered a cover-up and forced him to participate in it. Over the past 40 years other scientists, engineers and technicians have accused NASA of cover-ups and obscuring data.
