On average, people spend more than 490 minutes of their day with some sort of media, according to a new report by ZenithOptimedia. Television remains dominant, accounting for three hours of daily consumption—an hour more than the internet, in second place. (The report measures media consumed in its traditional form—for example, broadcasts on television sets and newspapers in print. Watching videos on the web or reading a newspaper’s website counts as internet consumption.)

A stealth aircraft that can send electromagnetic pulses to knock out power is a reality.
That’s the news in this video posted on CNN. The U.S. Air Force has confirmed an “electromagnetic pulse weapon” called CHAMP that it’s developed with Boeing. CHAMP can target and knock out power with nothing more than a flyby.
“We hit every target we wanted to, we prosecuted every one,” Boeing’s project manager Keith Coleman said in the video. “We made science fiction, science fact.”
In addition to just looking cool, CHAMP’s matte black exterior appears to make it almost undetectable at night, enabling it to fly over areas and pinpoint buildings to knock out power — without damage or casualties.

A $100,000 check is waiting for a mystery woman who donated a rare Apple 1 computer to a Silicon Valley recycling firm.
CleanBayArea in Milpitas, California, said on its website that a woman in her 60s dropped off some electronic goods in April, when she was cleaning out the garage after her husband died.
The boxes of computer parts contained a 1976 Apple 1, which the recycling firm sold for $200,000 in a private auction. The recycler’s policy is to split the proceeds 50-50 with the person who donated the equipment.

Turns out, you don’t. Your digestive tract can accommodate a week’s worth of food — and sometimes more.
