Mark Hamill Confirms Himself For Batman Arkham City

MARK HAMILL, the 59-year-old American actor and producer best known for his role as ‘Luke Skywalker’ in the original STAR WARS trilogy, has confirmed himself to provide the voice of ‘The Joker’ in the forthcoming ‘Batman’ video game ‘Arkham City’, reports

Hamill has worked as a voice actor on a number of high-profile projects in recent years, including a cameo in ‘Futurama’, and he voiced ‘The Joker’ in the highly successful Batman game ‘Arkham Asylum’ in 2009. Speaking about his reasons for working on the game’s sequel, the 59-year-old admitted that he had originally planned to “go out on a high note” following the ‘Asylum’s’ massive success, but suggested that the “powers that be” in Hollywood did not take kindly to him wanting to walk away from the project.
