If you have not heard of Hatsune Miku before, you aren’t Japanese. Hatsune is big in the digital world, really big. She is a virtual avatar pop star appearing at live (if that is what you would call it) concerts in Japan in the form of a 3D-hologram. The hologram is accompanied by a live band and is selling out concerts across Japan. Look out all of you temperamental rock stars, you really can be replaced.

Man Gets Shot Twice, Decides to Have a Sandwich Before Moseying Over to the Hospital

Miguel Soto bought a sandwich at a deli and walked home. While on his way, he was shot twice. But Soto didn’t let that problem distract him from having his meal:

Police say a 25-year-old Connecticut man who was shot twice after buying a sandwich at a New Haven deli went home and ate his lunch before going to the hospital. Miguel Soto said he was leaving the deli Tuesday when he heard three gunshots. One bullet hit him in the left leg, another in the groin. Police said he went home and ate the sandwich before asking his father to take him to a hospital.

Chinese Build 15 Story Hotel in 2 Days – Video

The Chinese are going through an industrial revolution, building factories and public works projects at breakneck speeds. They also like to set construction speed records it appears. Behold the incredible time lapse construction of the 15 story Ark Hotel.

The 15 floor superstructure was completed in just 46 hours and the exterior of the hotel was completed in an additional 90 hours. Believe it or not, the hotel is rated level 9 Earthquake Resistance. Kudos to the construction teams, it is a true technological marvel to say the least.
