Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0) has joined its Android cousins on the front lawn of the Google campus in Mountain View. In a somewhat unceremonious debut, the installers placed the statue in its position prior to the official announcement which was postponed in respect to the passing of Steve Jobs last week. Ice Cream Sandwich, anyone?
I have absolutely no idea what good a Ping Pong playing robot is to mankind, but after you watch the video you’ll have to admit it’s pretty cool. It takes some pretty good technology to produce this robot, so the question is why doesn’t the U.S. have one? Bring on Forrest Gump….let the competition begin!
