I’m all for giving credit where credit is due, but this is a bit of a stretch. Naming your firstborn child Facebook would be the ultimate compliment to the company credited with helping a social revolution in Egypt. I wonder how the name sounds in Arabic? I sure hope for her sake it sounds much better than in English.
While the baby girl could just have easily been called “YouTube,” “Twitter” “Google” or even “Cellphone Camera,” it seems like Facebook has become the umbrella symbol for how social media can spread the message of freedom. via
As part of its “Thank You” campaign, Porsche plastered the names of one million of its closest Facebook friends onto a hot rod. Now go ahead and help MoPo do the same 😉 http://www.facebook.com/MoPoGeek
Emory, the 21-year-old singer who posted a video on YouTube that appeared to show him singing an explicit song to elementary students, was arraigned on a felony charge Feb. 16, 2011.
The video was edited to make it appear the students were in the classroom, though they weren’t. Emory posted two disclaimers in the front of the video that students were not exposed to the explicit lyrics. If convicted, Emory could spend 20 years in prison on the charge of manufacturing child sexual abusive material.
It was published in the February 18, 1979 issue of Atlanta Journal-Constitution, but no-one payed much attention to it at the time. The article features a photo of a recipe, allegedly hand-written by John Pemberton, inventor of Coca-Cola.

Citric acid: 3 oz
Caffeine: 1 oz
Sugar: 30 (unclear quantity)
Water: 2.5 gal
Lime juice: 2 pints, 1 quart
Vanilla: 1 oz
Caramel: 1.5 oz or more for color
The secret 7X flavor (use 2 oz of flavor to 5 gals syrup):

Lemon oil: 30 drops
Nutmeg oil: 10 drops
Coriander: 5 drops
Neroli: 10 drops

THE world drank the equivalent of 6.1 litres of pure alcohol per person in 2010, according to a report from the World Health Organisation published on February 11th. The biggest boozers are mostly found in Europe and in the former Soviet states. Moldovans are the most bibulous, getting through 18.2 litres each, nearly 2 litres more than the Czechs in second place.
