$1.1 Billion Streets of Monaco Yacht

The Streets of Monaco Yacht isn’t your typical luxury yacht. In fact, it doesn’t even come close. Currently in the design process, this one-of-a-kind yacht is set to become the world’s most expensive at a cost of over $1.1 billion to build.

Yacht Island Design modeled the super ship after a section of Monte Carlo, and it will feature smaller versions of the state’s famous landmarks such as the Hotel de Paris and Monte Carlo Casino and racetrack. Swimming pools, tennis courts, a cinema, and go kart track will also provide an endless amount of entertainment.

Instead of traditional decks, the 510 ft (155 m) yacht will have buildings, and instead of a swimming platform it will have a beach. Guests will also be able to marvel at the waterfalls, swim-in jacuzzi-bar, helicopters and submarines on board.

The one-of-a-kind ship is built to accommodate up to 16 guests and 70 crew with the main apartment spread over three floors and 4,800 sq ft (445 sq m). Linking upper and lower living areas is the Atrium, which features seven guest suites, a bathroom, bedroom, dressing room, reception and balcony.

New Virus Raids Your Bank Account – But You Probably Won’t Notice

The best way to protect yourself from an online financial scam is to diligently check your bank accounts. At least, until now. Israeli-based Security firm Trusteer has found an elaborate new computer virus that not only helps fraudsters steal money from bank accounts — it also covers its tracks.

Think of a crime plot involving a spy who plans to break into a high-security building and begins by swapping out security camera video so guards don’t notice anything is amiss. Known as a surveillance camera hack, the technique has been used in dozens of movies.

A new version of the widely prevalent SpyEye Trojan horse works much the same way, only it swaps out banking Web pages rather than video, preventing account holders from noticing that their money is gone.

File sharing is an official religion in Sweden

After two failed attempts, where the Church was asked to formalize its way of praying or meditation, the authorities finally recognized the organization as an official religion. The Church’s founder is ecstatic about this news, and hopes that it will motivate more people to come forward as ‘Kopimists’.

“I think that more people will have the courage to step out as Kopimists. Maybe not in the public, but at least to their close ones,” Isak tells TorrentFreak. “There’s still a legal stigma around copying for many. A lot of people still worry about going to jail when copying and remixing. I hope in the name of Kopimi that this will change.”

E-Urinal Concept Analyzes Your Pee, Judges You

To the men in our audience: Fellows, how many times have you stood in front of a urinal in the midst of reliving yourself and thought, “I sure wish this thing I am peeing into could tell me if I am healthy or not.” Well, friends, that day may be sooner than you think. Designer Royce Zhang has created this interesting urinal concept which combines a sensor suite, touch screen, and space age design into what he calls the e-Urinal. Does it get weirder? Oh, of course it does.

Zhang says that his concept toilet (emphasis on concept; this thing doesn’t exist yet) would analyze the PH, SG, URO, BLO, WBC, PRO, GLI, BIL, & KET of those who use it. I’m not entirely sure what all those stand for, but the e-Urinal could apparently tell you the pH of your urine, specific gravity of urine , blood in urine, white blood cells in urine, protein in urine, bilirubin in urine, and ketones in urine, among others. Sounds useful, I guess!

If a MacBook Air Was as Inefficient as a Computer from 1991 the Battery Would Last 2.5 Seconds

Imagine you’ve got a shiny computer that is identical to a Macbook Air, except that it has the energy efficiency of a machine from 20 years ago. That computer would use so much power that you’d get a mere 2.5 seconds of battery life out of the Air’s 50 watt-hour battery instead of the seven hours that the Air actually gets. That is to say, you’d need 10,000 Air batteries to run our hypothetical machine for seven hours. There’s no way you’d fit a beast like that into a slim mailing envelope.

Man divorcing wife of 77 years over her affair in 1940s

A 99-year-old Italian man is divorcing his wife of 77 years after finding a packet of old love letters that revealed an affair she had in the 1940s, the Daily Telegraph reports.

The British newspaper’s Rome correspondent says newly released court documents show that the man, identified only as Antonio C., found the musty letters while clearing out an old chest of drawers a few days before Christmas.

His wife, Rosa C., reportedly confessed to the affair when confronted, but couldn’t talk her husband out of filing for divorce.
