Under cool, gray skies billions watched from outside Westminster Abbey and on television worldwide as 1900 invited guests inside witnessed as Prince William and his longtime girlfriend Kate Middleton were married in one of the largest events in London in decades.
A little over an hour after they arrived at the Abbey to be married, the couple emerged on a red carpet and onto the streets to a peal of bells and into a horse-drawn carriage, heading toward Buckingham Palace. The prince had married what the British call a commoner; now the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge (titles granted by Queen Elizabeth II).
Performance is set to be: 0-62 mph (0–100 km/h) in just 2.9 seconds and a top speed of 217 mph (350 km/h). Lamborghini says that the Aventador is two generations ahead of anything else on sale, using Formula One-style suspension and a lightweight carbon fibre monocoque.
It features a brand new 6.5 litre V12 engine, producing 691 hp (515 kW). Its transmission, a single-clutch 7-speed semi-automatic, is built by Graziano Trasmissioni. Despite being single-clutch, gear-shifts are accomplished in 50 milliseconds.
I’m just wondering, how long did these guys train to do this? I’ve been trying to get into parkour but I’ve been at it for 3 years and I can’t seem to get to the level these guys are at.
