What I thought was going to be a clear case of “no duh, phones break when you drop them” turned into a full on conspiracy thanks to the comments section of this article. Seriously, the comments are better than the article.
We have a full iPhone 4(minus the circuit board), here at our shop and decided to do a little drop test. This drop was performed from 3.5 ft up. Mind you that these parts ARE original apple parts. Laser etched and all. The iPhone 4 did survive 2 drops, as expected, but on the 3rd drop there was a loud POP, and yet again, shattered glass.

This amusing remote-controlled cooler can roll across a patio, rug, or kitchen floor to deliver a well-timed beverage to parched party guests. With room for 12 cans or bottles and ice, the cooler rolls on four sturdy underside wheels up to 40′ from the host at the controls.
The remote’s simple controls send the cooler forward, backward, and left or right. With sides of water-resistant insulated vinyl and a secure zippered lid, beverages stay cold for hours.
